Position Descriptions
ACTIVATIONS
Plan activities throughout the year to promote the primary event including having a presence at neighboring Prides as well as unique events (ideally a minimum of every quarter) to generate awareness and stir excitement. Must be able to identify good opportunities to bring in new audiences, strategize goals prior to and during the event, and execute with limited volunteers and/or other resources. Ideal manager should be able to identify and communicate with potential partner organizations to assist in execution.

ADVERTISING
Identify opportunities for promotion using digital and traditional methods including but not limited to Facebook ads, Google AdSense, print media, billboards and external partnership opportunities. Should attempt to quantify ROI to ensure we reach audiences effectively using our limited resources. Work with the Creative Manager to ensure that all submitted works adhere to COWP branding guidelines and are generated on a schedule that meets all required deadlines.

ANALYTICS
Measure online and traditional marketing campaigns working with software such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights to gauge effectiveness and assist in future planning allocation. Provide teams with regular reports and identify noteworthy items or areas of concern. Additionally, review registration and ticket sales reports to help ensure goals are on track.

CREATIVE
Oversee the workflow of all digital and printed creative artwork including advertisements, banners/signage, and other graphics. Create and adhere to a branding and style guide to ensure all pieces reflect a unified look and feel and are of very high quality. Manager will direct a team of designers to ensure that all requested pieces are created, approved and submitted in a timely fashion.

MERCHANDISE
Work with our merchandise partner(s) to solidify product mix and identify designs that would be popular within the Orlando community. Act as the primary liaison between Come Out With Pride and vendors, especially to help manage logistics the week of the event. Additionally, work with the website/IT departments on setting up and populating merchandise in an online web store to allow purchases throughout the year.
- Merchandise Manager – Nate Moster
PHOTOGRAPHY
Document the event through photography and videography. Manager will assemble a team of photographers/videographers and provide detailed instructions on where, when and what to capture in an effort to maximize breadth of coverage. Suggest notes on creative aspects including technical shooting specs and post-production effects. Manage workflow to quickly and efficiently retrieve media from entire team, catalog for long-term storage, and edit for publication as shortly after the event(s) as possible.
